No, Rock Drum Machine is currently only available for iPhone and iPad (iOS devices).
Yes! You can easily control Rock Drum Machine hands-free using a Bluetooth MIDI footswitch, ideal for guitarists, pianist, etc. and live performers.
App Features
You can create rhythms in two ways: by visually editing pads or by combining pattern tracks. Adjust beats, subdivisions, and sounds to personalize your groove.
Yes! Using Song Mode, you can build full song structures, adding different parts, transitions, fills, and setting jam intensity.
You can change drum sounds by selecting different kits in the SoundSet menu or by using the left button in the Groove Editor. Customize your hi-hat, snare, kick, toms, and more to create your perfect setup.
Free and Paid Versions
The free version, Rock Drum Machine Lite, lets you explore a basic selection of rhythms, customize simple patterns, and experience the app’s core workflow.
To unlock all features, you need to download the full Rock Drum Machine app from the App Store.
The full version of Rock Drum Machine unlocks all rhythm libraries, advanced pattern editing, complete Song Mode, a wide range of drum kits, and total sound customization.
You must download the full version as a separate app from the App Store.
Compatibility
Yes! Rock Drum Machine is compatible with Audiobus, AUM, and similar audio routing apps. You can easily connect it with other music apps for live performances or studio setups.
Rock Drum Machine can be used with DAWs such as GarageBand and Logic Pro by exporting your drum tracks in WAV format and importing them into your project.
Currently, it works as a standalone app and does not integrate directly as a virtual instrument inside DAWs.

Supporting AUv3 requires a complete rewrite of the app’s codebase, which takes significant time and effort.
We appreciate your patience as we work to bring AUv3 support in future updates.
Technical Questions
Yes! Rock Drum Machine allows you to use MIDI controllers to change pads live.
Just make sure you properly set up the MIDI input channel in the app settings.
If your exported WAV file sounds different, make sure to:
Fix the BPM correctly before exporting.
Turn off Jam Intensity and Fills if you want a precise export without improvisations.
Confirm no randomizer is active during export.
Currently, Rock Drum Machine exports only in high-quality WAV format.
You can use external tools to convert the WAV to other formats like MP3 if needed.
Due to a known issue in iOS Core Audio, the sound may stop after receiving a call.
If this happens, simply close and reopen the app to restore normal behavior.
